Red River Gorge - Kentucky

April is wonderful time to take a trip to Kentucky…especially when it coincides with a job and a birthday celebration.  We headed up to Red River Gorge at the end of the month with Meagans Parents to enjoy the area around the Daniel Boone National Forest.  A few of our favorite things were Gray’s Arch, Sky Bridge, Natural Bridge State Park and driving as many times as we could through the NADA tunnel.  Entering and exiting the Nada tunnel is almost a bizarre experience.  You enter past a residential area and then it spits you out into what feels like a hidden forest along the Red River.  A bonus was having time with our dear friends, the Hasty family, and being able to explore and relax with them (Avengers: End Game date night for the win)!  Before we headed home we had a little birthday party in the newly renovated camper and was able to use it to its full capacity with the family. Kentucky was good to us once again.
